September is also the month for eating, and several festivals start this weekend, including Denver Food and Wine, Nordic Food Lab in Denmark and Norway and New York City’s ninth-annual Meatopia on Randall’s Island tomorrow, which will feature the “most ambitious lineup” of chefs yet and their latest mouth-watering creations.  NYFW. Last night’s Fashion’s Night Out in New York City put throngs of globetrotting fashionistas donning six-inch Jeffrey Campbells and Marc Jacobs bags in a frenzy. Mercedes Benz and culinary creators Bompas and Parr, who once made golf cakes on the roof of London’s Selfridges Hotel, are gearing up for next week’s gourmet tour of the hotel’s lobby, which will be a sensory light and gourmet food Mercedes Drive Thru.
