London Hood by Hood: Primrose Hill

The second of six London neighborhoods featured in our iPad only city guide, Primrose Hill is the des res of London’s media, movie and music lovelies (Tim Burton, Jude Law, Kate Moss and Gwen Stefani have homes here).  A pastel painted, stucco-fronted early Victorian-era wonderland, it’s filled with cute bistros, delis and fantastic gastro pubs. Best of all is the hill itself, a large grassy swatch that’s part of Regent’s Park, the peak of which is the star of numerous rom coms. But it’s not all glitz and glam: Follow the canal east and you’ll hit gritty Camden, famous for its tied-dye and joss stick-arrayed market and center of London’s music scene.
